About The Masterclass


What is Jyotisha? Jyotisha is one of the Vedic healing arts, and it accompanies Ayurveda (Vedic healing of the body), Yoga (Vedic lifestyle and practices), and Vastu (Vedic alignment of the inner and external environments) in helping one create a whole and integrated life. Some call Jyotisha "Vedic Astrology" but it really is not astrology and bares very little resemblance to astrology in use and application.

In this Masterclass, I teach an introduction to the Vedas and Vedic Teachings and how Jyotisha evolved out of the Vedas. I also provide a basic introduction to Jyotisha that will be helpful for anyone who decides to explore Jyotisha deeper. This will also provide the background necessary for those of you who wish to work with me or learn from me, and it will help you understand how I am incorporating Jyotisha into my healing practice.

I have listened to other lectures and read other books about Jyotisha, but this is the first time when I felt I have received a full birds-eye view rather than a little fragment of the whole.

Jennifer Jacobsen

Jennifer is the Owner and Founder of VISHAKHA. She is a teacher of the Vedic Sciences and a Soul Path Coach. She has over two decades of continuous study, practice, lived experience, and teaching in Sankhya, Yoga, and Vedanta Philosophies as well as The Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Ayurveda, and the Upanishads. She has undergraduate and some graduate background in Religion and Philosophy, Psychology, and Acting. She has also spent time living in a Yoga ashram and devoted a significant portion of her life to being a student under the tutelage of many incredible Indian Swamis.
